A number of projects implemented in the area of ​​Prelog raise the quality and standard of living for all citizens of the Town. One such project is DESCO. Prelog has begun the development of a fundamental strategic document under the title “Development Strategy of Town Prelog 2018 to 2028”.

The drafting of this document is in the initial phase and will be a basic document for the future development of Town Prelog. It´s elaboration is funded under the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia 2014 – 2020, as a part of the project “Development of strategic cross-border cooperation between Letenye, Ludbreg and Prelog” acronym DESCO. The DESCO project is based on the need to strengthen co-operation between small towns and different stakeholders. It gathers three partners from two countries: Ludbreg, Prelog and Letenye. The aim of the project is improving co-operation between partners, institutions and citizens in the cross-border area.

On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, in the premises of Town Prelog, another workshop for the preparation of this strategic document was held. The work meeting brought together numerous interested individuals and representatives of various organizations. The workshop was led by representatives of Bercon d.o.o., a organization which is in charge of planning and drafting the strategy.
