Establishment of Ludbreg Intergeneration Center.

Added value of the project:
Through the implementation of the project, new services for older people as well inter-generational centers have been established an to ensure sharing of knowledge and experience among generations through informal learning, information sharing and informal education.

General description of the project:
The central goal of the project was to actively involve all age groups in social life of the community, raise the level of intergenerational solidarity in the program area, and thus encourage volunteering to efficiently utilize human and other potential to contribute to reducing the negative effects of demographic change.
The Ludbreg Center for Intergeneration will be located in the eastern part of Batthyany Castle, in the present area of the Pensioners’ Association, which was be remodeled with respect to planned activities within the project.
Within the Center for Intergeneration, the activities of day care for elderly people with hot meals and medical supplies such as medical gymnastics, blood pressure measurement, physiotherapy, etc., and activities of “Leisure Time” were provided, which contributed to the proactive inclusion of socially excluded groups into social life.
